The Male Spiritual Journey

Our culture teaches that money, possessions, power and sex will make you happy.  Searching for success in those terms leaves men empty, lonely and dissatisfied.

A Different Path

Wise men through the ages have taught that accepting our human limitations and being open and present to God, self, and others is the way to being fully alive.

At a Glance

While many of us have completed the Men's Rites of Passage created by Fr. Richard Rohr, OFM, our goal is to promote spiritual growth, healing and wholeness for all men.

A Chapter of Illuman

Illuman is a not for profit organization for men who are simply interested in becoming better, more authentic men.

About Us

Indiana-Michigan MALEs is a group of men, many of whom have completed the Men's Rites of Passage (MROP) created by Fr. Richard Rohr, OFM. Our goal is to promote spiritual growth, healing, and wholeness for all men. We do this by holding retreats, encouraging men to be honest and open with each other and helping men to connect through small group meetings which offer fellowship, growth and accountability.
